Vantober turns to Novanber
Van Hansis’s episode of NIKITA, ‘Clawback,’ will air tonight, Friday 4th November at 8pm/7c on the CW Network. Wrote Van on his Facebook this week:
If you missed his teaser, many believe the two hints were the ones that said “The Russians are coming!” and referred to this role as being the polar opposite of Luke Snyder – I’m paraphrasing from memory now, badly, but it’s hard to imagine someone more different from Luke than either Danny Hill or Adrian Viccellio!

Where to watch
For those of you in the US, but not familiar with the CW, it’s one of the “minor” networks (like UPN or Fox) and is not available in all markets.
However, they offer a zip-code lookup to find local stations and also list Satellite/Cable alternatives by city on that same page.
For viewers in Canada, it will also be simulcast on CTV Two.
For viewers in the UK, Wiki claims that Sky’s “Living secured the rights to air Nikita in the United Kingdom as the centerpiece of the channel’s autumn schedule. Living’s head of acquisitions Amy Barham said ‘Nikita is the hottest, most action-packed drama of the season with an amazingly strong female lead that we know will excite and engage Living’s audiences this autumn. We’re thrilled to be able to bring it exclusively to the channel. Chase will follow in 2011, providing a new favorite show for all of our procedural fans.’
That being said, I found a nice show page on Living’s website, but couldn’t actually find it on the schedule (current season or last).
For those of us in the rest of the world (or who are unable to be in front of their TVs tonight), desperate to see it live, you can watch it via LiveStream. The source streamer appears to be YYCast, who stream The CW Austin (TX). I just checked, and the stream is definitely working, pretty good quality, and the timing is correct. Although Austin is in the Central time zone, Nikita will air at 7pm in Austin (8pm Eastern) so you’ll be able to catch the initial broadcast live with this stream.
I have seen a few other links to sites that use this feed. This includes TVPC and Stream2Watch.me. For both of these, make sure you wait until the advertisements allow you to click to close. If you click too soon, it will prompt you to download software – something you should not need to do to view Nikita. I was able to get TVPC to work just now, and when I did my initial NIKITA post several weeks ago, I got the Stream2Watch link to work as well, but it wasn’t cooperating when I tried it just now.
Personally, I’m sticking with the YYCast link because it has no advertising delay! I just checked and what’s on the stream now matches the CW Austin listings, so we should be all set for tonight!
As of today, it looks like last week’s episode is available for streaming on the CW site, via Netflix, and for purchase (commercial free at Amazon and iTunes), and on Hulu to subscribers), so those will be good, legitimate alternatives for post-broadcast viewing for those of you in the USA.
In the meantime, episode 2 or 3 episode preview clips, and a couple of background clips to watch after the jump…
