Lily: I hate what (Damian) did, Luke. I — I just — I can’t turn off my feelings. It — it wouldn’t be love then. It’s okay for you to still love him, Luke. He is a part of you.
Luke: I wish that he weren’t.

— Lily and Luke

Watch Luke and Reid at 1080×720

You can watch Luke and Reid live on ATWT if you do a one-time installation of the the TVU Player plug-in as indicated  below. This player was recommended by the Otalia fan page.

The good news is, after testing it for a few hours today, it is far higher definition, and far more stable than the three livestreams that I have been using to date. My Norton AntiVirus didn’t find any problems and it doesn’t appear to crash my browser.

The bad news is, its CBS affiliate is KPIX in San Francisco, so all shows air 2 hours later than Eastern Time (4pm EDT). Depending on the day, this may either be before or after ADL posts the episodes on YouTube. So if you are looking for another alternative way to view, you’re welcome to give it a try.

There is also a 720 x 480 viewer available on this site, which is indeed bigger, but is slightly pixely as it’s bigger than the streaming file.

New Postcard | Luke + (Reid) Oliver + Van + Eric = LOVE

Don’t know why I didn’t notice this before (I’m sure someone on Facebook has already done a similar post),  but
Luke + (Reid) Oliver + Van + Eric = LOVE

Like I didn’t have enough to keep me busy already? But I just couldn’t help myself! At any rate, in case you want to jot down any of your thoughts and send them TPTB/soap mags. Click to download high-res version.

I’m hoping to do a Doctors without Borders one, later this week.

Poll Results: The L Word

UPDATE, 3 Sep, evening: We have a winner! Reid is the first to officially say it.

[tubepress video=pxCGr6g6Hq0 title=false description=false]

UPDATE, 3 Sep, morning: Okay, obviously I was a bit premature in taking down this poll. I originally removed it because of the weekly preview scene where Reid tells Luke to take care of his kidney because “If I’m gonna put myself out there and fall in love with you….”, to which Luke replies “Are you planning on falling in love with me?”

What idiot woulda thunk we wouldn’t get a definitive “I Love You” after that? Never mind, don’t answer that – that just opens us up to all sorts of speculation.

Instead, two weeks later, we get Luke telling Noah, that he’s in love with Reid, and then telling Reid he told Noah, in a fit of exasperation. Then when Reid calls him on it, he admits that yes, “I told Noah that I was in love with you.”

*headdesk* Could the writers have used any less romantic grammar? I mean really? using a complement clause “that I WAS in love with you” vs just plain “that I AM in love with you.” And if that wasn’t bad enough you then have Luke saying, “Honestly, Reid, right now, I’m not feeling much of that.” WTF?

And to add the final insult to injury, Reid’s response to “You could tell me you love me whenever you want” is “You wouldn’t believe me if I said it right now anyway.”  WTF?

Is it so hard for the writers to give them the chance to just say “I love you”?!? I need a simple subject-verb-object declarative sentence. It doesn’t even require any lint!

Obviously, this saga is still TO BE CONTINUED…

ORIGINAL POST: Okay, it’s not official yet, but it’s pretty awfully close. Given next week’s preview clip, I’m going to take down this poll as of Saturday 21 August, 2.19am. BTW, Reid was slightly ahead, even before the preview clip aired.

Who will say I Love You first?

  • Luke, then Reid (36%, 45 Votes)
  • Reid, then Luke (48%, 60 Votes)
  • Only Luke (7.2%, 9 Votes)
  • Only Reid (3.2%, 4 Votes)
  • Neither Luke nor Reid (5.6%, 7 Votes)

Total Voters: 125
poll opened: 16 August 2010
poll closed: 21 August 2010
